Mounted on a pickup or a flatbed, the Samson crane looks like a macho roll-bar. Yet in minutes it morphs into a highly efficient lifting machine capable of lifting 45 gallon barrels, engines, ATV’s, snowmobiles and other materials off and on trucks with ease. As one of few cranes that can readily be mounted on pickups, the Samson crane significantly reduces the risk of back strain or injury to those who rely on their pickup to transport heavy goods.

The Samson roll-bar crane has many advantages. While rugged and durable, the crane is also light-weight due to formed tubular construction. Its low weight increases the available payload. And, the compact design means that the crane requires very little space, leaving more room for cargo. High quality design and construction means that Samson cranes are easily service and maintained.

While the appearance of Rollbar cranes in North America is relatively recent, their versatility and benefits have been recognized in Asia and South Africa for many years. In fact, the Samson crane is a factory approved option on KIA and Hyundai trucks.

The Samson crane comes complete with a DC power pack, a 1,200 lb planetary hoist, remote controls for lifting, hoisting and slewing functions, and a double line block. It is finished in eye-catching black and pewter powder-coating, Available options include outrigger stabilizer (s) and a wireless remote control. Samson cranes are completely transferable and can be installed on most American full size pickups and flatdeck trucks.
